Kanab home remodel

We found a vacant spot above the hall where we can make storage for china and stuff. I hoope to get done by Christmas.
Now, this was the dining room. The kitchen sink will be under the windows with the dishwasher on the right. The stud wall is for R13 insulation to keep the room cozy.

I love the new shower!

It's hard to get it all in the picture

New bathroom old tub

Doors hidden for 40 years!

Notice anything missing?

We ended up with 3 deer this year. Kevin shot his first and Jason got the first one on opening day.
Well that's all for now.

Sand spring

Amazing rocks. Next I hope to go out east and find some dinasaur tracks.
Self photo at the sand dunes. 4 wheelers are sure fun.

Dilworth provided lunch and I got some rest in the shade. We had to hike a bit to see the pictographs.

First time I have seen multiple corn grinding spots.

Baby foot prints.

Rugged country

Pretty flowers, looking toward Kanab

Cool stuff

Dilworth and I went 4 wheeling at Sand spring, saw some beautiful country and some Indian pictographs.

Her next favorite thing to do.

Moms favorite thing to do is help Rosa cut out school aids.

Mom rests every chance she gets.

A beautiful view of the breaks. We got to have a picnic with Kerry and Cindy at Cedar Breaks.

fun in Kanab

Mom still loves to dance. There was a great fire works display that evening.

Mom enjoying the hamock Chris gave me.

We took Grandma out to help us find Montezumas treasure.

Went to the Manti pagent Jun 26. There was no room at the inn so we left at 11Pm and went to Salina to get a hotel. It was still worth in. We ended up at Julie Montoyas wedding reception the evening of Jun 27 in Cedar city.

Annie and I went 4 wheeling up above Kanab in Hog canyon.

New look for the car port/now my shop. The van is gone and I installed two barn doors.

James and Ema's weding at Best friends. It was a beautiful location but not the Temple.

Home sweet home

We now have two storage units in Kanab one for our stuff and one for the school. I sold over $3000 at a 3 day yard sale Jun 5,6 &7 but still had a full 26' Uhaul.

A lot has happened since we left Tennessee. It took me three trips to Kanab but we're all here. Annie finished up her 8th grade and graduated. Her grandparents (Beve and Jeffrey) came from Pueblo but I was still in Tennessee.

We were able to get every thing out of the school house and sell Lucy Ln for our asking price. We were happy to have it all done. I left for Kanab on Jun 8 and the house closed Jun 9. Mike McLeroy helped me drive the Uhaul with the van on my new (Old) car hauler.

Work for the new year

I completly gutted the bathroom. As you see there is a lot of water damage to the floor. I even need to replace some of the floor joists. Fun Fun Fun. I hope this will make the house marketable. We are hopping to sell asap.

I have a new project in the house. This is the master bedroom and bath.
